Rewrite the UserCommands

Post by Nova » 2006-11-24 05:29

What do you think about this

Image

Its just a pic but its a mutch more easy way to sort the commands. And if you use the usercommands in all hubs you are in about 10 or something or if you are OP and have commands for all diffrent hubs it will be lika a mass when you have 200 commands in one screen? So why not have the first screen for just the hubs. And when you take edit it will be like it are today. But in a new screen just for that hub... It think that wuld be mutch more easy.....

Hope you like this great requst

Nice idea, but what if you want to use the same command for multiple hubs ?

If you will have same command in multiple hubs it wuld be more easy to sort them enyway by having them hub for hub... Or one for "all" but thats not the point. The point are to sort commands for every diffrent hub whit diffrent commands just for make it more easy to edit and add and have "a pic of what you have" or how you wuld like to say it Pothead. But the point its only have the commands for everyhub and have it more easy to sort and edit them. If you have 200commands and like to use them or have them in the rightclick menu its more easy to sort if you have 20commands for 1 hub. And not if you have 200commands and find just the command you search after... and have them in order and not like a mass :D thats are the point. Hope you get it

I suppose, having 2 static entries at the top would work, for what i pointed out (preserving the original functionality).
1. All hubs.
2. Op hubs.
Then after this grouping usercommands per hub, as Nova suggested. :)

or simply being able to click on the "Hub" column, so you can sort the list items by hub? this way, the commands for each hub would be grouped together.

I was confused the instant I looked at that screenshot.

Don't have 200-300 user commands and the problem is solved. Why the hell would you need that many user commands? User commands isn't your problem. The amount of hubs you're in is.
