Even with my 56k modem? Wow. That's some good programming, right there.

LOL. A HUGE ONE.

After having installed the sababa mod, registry showed me new values,
labled- Reverse Connect values.
WT---?

PLUS-

You put a banner for your own gain? Why is that?

Moreover it's an open source program dear fellow.

You put nasty advertisments (regarding iexplorer) which consume CPU,

PLUS-

let's add the many TCP connections.

you wanna convert ppl's pc's into complete waste?

btw-

no offense, correct you dramatical/grammatical mistakes.
Those are damn awful.

nahh

Code: Select all

• Infomercial

Television or radio commercial which advertises a particular product while giving helpful information or tips that incorporate the advertised product.
Who, in his right mind, would use an ads-built-in a dc mod?

Im still astonished how would someone sane do that :?

I think you have some copyright-license-issues in your release. Since the mod/clone is a copy-and-paste-version, and you don't seem to have the correct copyright-tags for the code.

I urge you to fix this before it goes any further.
Everyone is supposed to download from the hubs, - I don´t know why, but I never do anymore.

i don't know any client which supports kadmilla
if it's kademlia you mean? LDC++ dropped that in latest version i believe :P

sababa

Post by steve6 » 2006-03-28 07:52

i like this client.
I was an evangilist for strongdc, for a long time. but Sababa is now my number one dc client.
Kadmelia does work.

It's not perfect. The information you get regarding users is very small.
All i can see is Nick and shared.
Some users it won't connect to, because of client they are using.
but that's a common client problem

the interface is excellent.
I like the side panel view.
It has an option in search called "refine results" which i haven't seen in any other client.
Let's say you search for something. Well often you get more than the results you wanted. By using refine results, you can clear out the unwanted ones.

I checked a load of clients today including rev connect.
I wouldn't like it.
It has no file preview, and doesn't seem to have a automatic search users
with free slots only option.
The one I'm concentrating on at the moment is LDC.

hey i recently downloaded sababa dc++ and whenever I start it I get visual c++ runtime error and it auto shuts down. I have revconnect, strongDC and sababaDC installed, but I tried it alone and it didn't work.

Is there any way to contact the maker? Or has anyone else had this problem??

The main reason I am trying this is because strongDC rc10 seems to constantly auto shutdown on me!

thx

that's because strongDC supports autoshutdown i believe.
search your settings for a auto shutdown function..

*edit fixed a typo

I know this is an old thread, but I use it and like it, if it werent for the crashes...

But, after getting it stable I do like this..

The hubs are on the left side, easier to see and use.. Close disconnected works nicely, but the close options for PM, Search and something else at the bottom DOES NOT WORK.... Middle mouse button on left side menu...

And it automatically REMOVES ALL SLOW sources for any file I try to download... 5kb and under... and if there are only 10 people sharing, those ADD UP....

Took a while to realize that the download links for the client hid on the page http://en.sababadc.com/download.html (left side) between the google ads. The source is therefore available on http://esnips.com/web/sababadc.
