I downloaded Direct connect for Mac from Neo-modus, but i am banned from my campus hub. I keep getting this private message but dont understant what it means or what i must do! please help!

"You are banned for 5m because using client is sending description without tag so we cannot determine how many slots you have available. Please fix client or try a different one."

Please help!

Use a different client. The one you're referring to doesn't have certain features that 99% of all hubs require these days. There's a list of clients that work on mac somewhere (most of the linux ones iirc).

thanks, but how do i change the client? where do i go and what do i do? (non computer knowledgeable person here!)

Go here [clicky], pick a client from the list that's not the one you're currently using, go to it's homepage, download it, install it, run it. If you don't like it, try a different one from the list.

I think it's Shakespeer that is the most fully featured OS X client.
