Hi , I am a new dc++ user and like it a lot.
However, It would be great to see a users ping.
Maybe a column in the user-list to the right.
Or right clicking and 'ping this user.
wow..would't it be a great improvmnet.

Why would this be a great improvement? Pingtimes really have no relations to what kind of transfer speeds you will be able to get from the user, if that's what you're after. It's pretty useless outside of checking if the user is online, which he ought to be if he's in the hub.

Ping is a measure of latency, not data transfer rate. Can you explain why this would be a good improvement?

k thanx guys for the replys.
I just had that idea that becouse we already know the potential speed the ping would give us a hint about the approximate tranfsfer rates and wich one to go for first.

Ping can't be used to approximate transfer speed.
