grouping of search results with same TTH?

Post by OrangeSlice » 2004-10-07 01:36

The grouping of search results with the same TTH is one feature that DC++ could really use. If same TTH search results were grouped under a single expandable [+] then it would be easy to tell which file has the most sources (and probably the non-corrupted one).

Just wondering if this feature is going to be implemented or has been rejected.

Look in Bugzilla. If it isn't there, suggest it. Easy, isn't it? =)

No. Sorting != Grouping.

It's not going to be rejected. Nobody has put it in bugzilla, but that's ok, since it's been part of the feature set hashing enables since... well, since we first started talking about it, well over a year ago.

Everyone is supposed to download from the hubs, - I don´t know why, but I never do anymore.

BCDC did at one point. The solutions I've seen have been pretty ugly. They've also been only to the SearchFrm code - not to TypedList, which would be more interesting, since they'd enable grouping in the Queue and Transfer panes as well. Or to Favorite hub/users.
