how do i make a regulary "sending message" bot?

i would like to send a certain message every 15 minutes on my hub's main chat room

any help would be appreciated

i was wondering if i can do that as a regular user, like on irc, some irc clients can be set up to send messages with regularity - trivia is an example - or to send mass messages, can't i set up my dc++ client like that?

let's say im an operator on a certain hub, can't i somehow send advertising messages on the hub's main chat room or through mass messages?

i assume you don't like advertising... me neither, but what im trying to do has nothing to do with annoying messages you probably are sick of from i don't know where...
i'm a network admin and there are certain announcements i have to make daily, i'm telling you, it's in their interest to see those announcements

i don't really think that was a necesary explination, but you guys seem sensitive in who you should or shouldn't help; if you can't do that please don't bother to post, thank you

beholder, download BCDC++, it has lua scripting support with which help i'm sure you can create a timer that sends a mainchat message. Good luck!
