Total newb...please help, I want to start my own darknet

Post by prevx » 2003-11-06 00:59

hi,

I'm totally new to this DC++ but I've read the readme and FAQ. I want to start my own private hub so I can share files with people I know in real life, but I can't find instructions on how to do it.

I'm using ADSL win xp PPPoE with a dlink router. I'd appreciate any help...thanks :)

Check the "Hubs and Scripts" part of the forum and you'll porbably find something.

Start Here.

You may find this moved to Hubs and scripts, where it should have been posted. :)
Always remember you're unique, just like everyone else.

Personally, I'd recommend giving an eye to the very neat FAQ on http://www.broadbandreports.com/faq/dc?r=683

To setup a hub, the section 7 and 7.1 of the faq should help you get started =)
