Help deleting a flooder....

Which hub software is the best? Where can I find script XXX? Discuss it here...(no, this is not for advertising your hub...)

Help deleting a flooder....

Post by skindoggy2000 » 2004-04-20 21:52

Hi guys --

I've been running a radiohead hub for the past two years, and of late we have been over-run with flooding. I installed the mldonkey script, but today we came upon a new flood -- a user name like the following:

KampfSau[SciFiScene][eaffe.de_][emule.de_][spieleplanet.com_][Filedealer.de_][Friendsharing_][ITA_][CSB_][DE_][GER_][Friendsharing.de_][Leecha_][ARC_][SW_][RAMMSTEIN_][AFF_][animefilme.de_][saugstube_][eselkult.de_][eselgalaxy.de_][ACF_][eselpsychos.de_][by_deltaHF_][kidzworld_][gB_][deMule.de_][gayreactor.net_][eselfarm.info_][PL_][Blacksounds.de.tf_][eselmetal.de_][geb_][AFF_][Leecher_][Leecha_][ACL_][ARR_]

got into the hub and now has nearly 25 accounts. I cant' kick him or kill him, and there's already a script for more than one connection. You guys know what you are doing much better than I: what has created this monstrosity, and how do I kill it?

(Sorry if this quesiton is asked all the time -- I didn't know what to search for). Thanks in advance,

Mike

You didn't specify which hubsoftware, so I checked. version 1.0.25 of NeoModus

i remember to have a problem like you, but the only problem is the lenght of the nick that make unable to kill the user using the 'kick user' menu item
anyway you can disconnect him from the 'client stats' window and then ban his IP
