So, how can a semi-newbie start his own hub?

Which hub software is the best? Where can I find script XXX? Discuss it here...(no, this is not for advertising your hub...)

Apoligies if this is covered elsewhere on this board. :)

A month or so ago, I wanted to to know if it was possible to connect to normal IRC chat using the DC++ client.

The answer was no.

Fair enough.

However, instead, I would like to set up the a hub in the chat room, if possible.

My PC with it's 1 meg broadband connection is on 24/7, though I might find an alternative host.

I am not however owner of the chat server (though I'm founder of one of the 6 rooms on it).

Oh what the hell, I don't know what I'm doing, someone point me in the right direction aye?
