Software that is Installed:
Ptokax DC Hub 0.3.2.6 Testdrive 4
NO-IP DUC
DC++ Client
Computer Setup:
The computer is connected to D-link router. DMZ is enabled using the computers IP Address.
Comments: At one time this setup worked when I tried the Neo Modus hub v.2. Then when I started trying other hubs this setup no longer worked. When I tried to go back to the Neo Modus Hub, it still didn't work. When I connect to my hub from either the computer w/ the hub software, or from another computer I keep getting "connection refused by target machine."
Side Note: I do have Zone Alarm, but I have never refused the DC hub connection. I have also disabled the firewall, but still no luck.
Thanks in advane to anyone who can help me out.

For the DMZ I use the 192.168.xxx.xxx
The Hub is set to use my domain name that I registed w/ NOIP, which is the same as my computer's IP Address given to me by my ISP 67.xx.xxx.xxx since the DUC program should make the proper updates.
Im sorry im a little bit confused by what you meant by using 127.0.0.1. Can you explain what you mean, did you mean to change local IP Address to 127.0.0.1?

127.0.0.1 is localhost, basically the computer you are sitting at. By manually connecting in the public rooms list to 127.0.0.1, you bypass the internet and connect directly to the PC you're on. Others should connect normally using your no-ip address (double check that it *does* hold your computer's current IP address).

sorry, my last sentance was misleading a bit.
since you have a router, chance are that you have more then one puters connect to it.
but this depend on the router model and if the puter IP is assigne by the router DHCP.
as Gratch06 sayed, all other users, from internet, should use you external IP or DNS addy.

there is some instance when you will be able to use DNS addy to connect to your hub from puter on the same LAN.TheNOP wrote:on hub puter use 127.0.0.1
on other puters on the same LAN use the puter IP(internal) running the hub.
