Component 'Mswinsck.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid
i was running a hub on WinME and i upgraded to Win2k Professional, clean install, and when i installed the DC Hub software on this OS i got this error when i tried to run it. any idea how to fix this?

pretty sure you need to install the nm-dc client then the hub software....as I recall, it installs some needed OCX files

You have to have the nmdc client installed to run the hub

i didn't even think about that. when i put on my new OS i just went directly to DC++. and i didn't even notice the little note on the DC Hub download that said i needed the neo-modus DC client installed. ok. good.
