Bandwidth limiter tag characters

Post by TasMan » 2003-11-11 11:07

What are the characters used by the various upload limiter mods for DC++?

I know L: and B: are used. How about U:? (I think D: is for download too no?) Also if they use different values (ie U gives a percentage or is in mb/s something), please tell me =).

U: B: L:

Some of those on some mods/clients are per slot, most are total.
I've had D: before in my client, but I haven't seen it any other places (I don't go around in public).

Good luck ;)

Tas,

DC:Pro uses F: for bandwidth limiting, "F:<DL limit>/<UL limit>"

eg Tag: <DC:PRO V:0.2.2.11,M:A,H:0/1/2,S:6,F:120/30>

The Download limit in DC:Pro is based on the UL Limit to a maximum of:

UL Limit of 1 to 5 kb/s = 2x for DL
UL Limit of 6 to 10 kb/s = 3x for DL
UL Limit of 11 kb/s and up = 4x for DL

Thanks...

Ok, so we've got various forms of U, B and L, as well as D and F for bandwidth limiting. O is different in NMDC2 and DC++...

Are there anymore conflicts between tag characters or unmentioned ones? I'm trying to make a list of things I need to support...
