Hello everyone.
I recently started a new hub on DC, and the past couple of days I've been getting someone(s) constantly logging in with different (random?) usernames - all have 11MB in share (but their file list shows nothing) - and one other called zSearch with 0 shares.
All these are on different IPs, but I presume they must be connected since they all came on at once, and all but the zsearch user has 11MB in shares.
My ops are tired of constantly kicking them (after several attempts to chat nicely) - I presume they are some sort of bot?
Is there a way to keep out users like this, or put some sort of limits on who enters the hub - like only registered users are allowed (if so how does a user get to be registered?)
Thanks for any help you can give
mldc client & zsearch?

Put chr(160) in your hub description, this is just like putting the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the hotel rooms door so that the maid won't come in. This will stop the (non-hacked) MoGlo clients from entering or searching your hub.
You run a hub and have figured out how to 'Op' users .... so.... It's the same process, but they are not assigned Op status, just Regular User status. Also, it is possible for a script to allow users to register themselves.(if so how does a user get to be registered?)
