Im trying to figure out how to multi-hub with PtokaX. I'm not sure what to put for MHServer address or even the other options. My understanding is that multi-hubbing is having multiple hubs connecting together to form one server? is that correct? I am trying to use this feature for my college hub so that the network administrators will have a harder time figuring out exactly who is running the server. I appreciate any help you can give me.
P.S. Can you multi-hub with Yhub? Thanks

http://hub-link.sourceforge.net/ Looks like Ptokax doesn't have a support script yet, so it's chat-only. Yhub has no script support, so you will never be able to multihub with it.

see Xsthetic NetServer by Hawk in there. It does multihubbing or what, also can be used along with robocop if you like it better.Zmyth wrote:Thanks for the link, Im having trouble finding that topic but I'll keep looking.

Xsthetic NetServer by Hawk uses a very old version of Hub-LInk to provide multi-hub capability.
The built in multi-hub from PtokaX with MHServer is unstable, it will provide a simple multi-hub chat if both hubs are running 0.326TD4. It might even work with the leaked version of .330 B15.25 but don't bother trying with .330 B15.30 it won't work at all.
The MHServer software was never officially released and the source code for the project was lost when aMutex lefvt the PtokaX development team.
Not that I'm biased, but if you want to enable multi-hub chat with PtokaX, use Hub-Link.
If your goal is to somehow hide who is running a server from the system administrators by running more then one of them... well... you are just kidding yourself....
