Hi,

I want to setup a HUB on a linuxbased server ...

Can someone plz tell me how to set it up and wich tools i nned and where to get them ??

Do I need a server with Shell or one with remote control ??

you'll need to eb able to run a program ... so shell access will work :)
you need one linux hub software (not sure about development status there) since most hub softs run on windows ...

You'll need either this or this to do the job. I've seen both in action, and they work OK (one with 300, the other with 700 users). (Then there's Shasta hub, which is written in Java, and OpenDCD [delphi/kylix], but I haven't seen either used anywhere; google for them if you're interested).
