Cool. Lot of info. Let's guess.
Using probably NMDC Hub, it should work fine on XP.
- You havent installed Direct Connect, libraries missing?
- You have some non-working script there?
- You have XP's internal firewall on and users can't get in?

Yes it is possible to create a DC Hub in XP. You need the DChubsetup from NeoModus, and the Client for DC
I suggest you browse to
www.dyndns.org first to create an account that can give you a DNS address (e.g
[email protected]) so that you do not have to give out your IP address for users to sign in.
Have fun

should install and run fine BUT you have to install the Neo-Modus client FIRST...guess Jon Hess didn't want a hub loaded w/o having the client for it...still don't know why the previous and present hubs don't have a fully functional CLIENT built in...
