Okay let me start by saying that I have searched the forums and haven't come across this problem here. If I missed it, I'm sorry.
I run a hub using NeoModus DC 1.025 (had trouble with 2.0)
WinXP Home
Linksys router (with appropriate ports open)
Sygate TPF
cable connection
My problem is after the server has been running for 12 hours or so, I get the message:
tmrSlowBGWork_Timer:No buffer space is available and eventually the server starts giving the 'refused by target machine' error to people. Then I reboot and everything is fine for another 12 hours or so.
Can anyone help, the folks on the hub are getting a little upset by this as am I.

Re: hub server issue
Just for clarification, is this message being given by the hub software or by Windows?IGS wrote:I get the message:

Isn't restarting the hub software sufficient?IGS wrote:Then I reboot

Sometimes, but not always.Isn't restarting the hub software sufficient?
I should also say that the computer the hub is running on has minimal other programs on it, it's basically dedicated to the hub.

Thanks and actually I'm already considering switching to one of those if I can't get this issue cleared up. But before I go doing that I'd like to be reasonably sure that either of those programs won't do the same thing this one is. Otherwise I'd just as soon stay with what I have since it's all set up and scripted the way I need it to be.GargoyleMT wrote:There are two other choices for Windows Hub software you might want to try: Yhub and Ptokax.

Okay that makes sense to me. Just too bad there isn't some way to fix this issue I'm having. So I guess that means I'll be playing around with hub software this weekend.GargoyleMT wrote:Well, you're seeing a Visual Basic error of some sort from NMDC. Ptokax and Yhub are different programs (and not in VB, but that's beside the point), so you won't see the NMDC error in them.
Thanks for your help everyone, it's greatly appreciated.
