There's many hub softwares out there, and if you know how to write in pascal, LUA, or C++, there are a few that might turn out better for you than the standard from neomodus.

If you don't know any programing language, then the easiest would be to use the Hub Software from NeoModus (you can download it here).

Before installing the hub software from neomodus, you also need to install the client from neomodus (which you can download on the same page)

If you want to give a try to writing your own scripts, give a look to the VBS command reference and the very good tutorial from Microsoft which you can download here. It's the tutorial I actually used myself to learn the basis of vbs. Took me about 2 mornings and a few cups of coffee =)

If you don't feel like writing, or even editing your own scripts, you can check what others did so far and run a script someone else wrote. In this case, have an eye to this thread of the DC++ forums which has links to most of the DC script libraries around (not sure why no moderator made the thread sticky; it could definitely help... oh well).

Yeah I agree, I have visited the sourceforge site to keep tabs on the DC++ HUB, no one seems to be writing a HUB client.

To be honest, I would like to see some major development on this technology and implementation of useful things that can be done with the HUB...

Its my opinion that very little thought into functionality in the HUB for DC leaves it miles behind and DC++ should have had a version out by now, too much effort on the GUI, the balance need to be redressed.

So come on guys, where is it? where is DC++ HUB? If I could code c++ I would have written one by now.

to answer the original question...since he apparently knows nothing about hubs...goto www.neo-modus.com and get the hub software...make sure you load the neo-modus client first...load hub and play with it...once it's loaded come back here and ask about any problems your having[/url]

please help me! *sob*

I'm trying so hard to get Direct Hub to work but it's making me die with the pain and suffering. So, can someone please directly link me to what I need to make this damn thing work? It keeps giving my runtime errors. Thanks

Runtime errors... well, Make sure to download and install the client from Neo-Modus at the Download page. This information was stated several times in this thread.

If you've already done that, then please provide some specific information/questions. Thanks.

RunTime errors? Sounds like you didn't install the client first like several people advised or you installed the new v2.0 client first which won't help you at all. You need the v1.0 VB client in order to get certain dependanices which are not included in the Hub Setup program.

Posting at the same time... :D

The Neo Modus page does not make this point very clear.....

Here's the link you need... the v1.0 Client is the 95/98/ME client available HERE
