TortoiseCVS w/DC++ help

Post by Track3R » 2004-06-07 00:30

Hey, I was wondering why I am not able to access the CVS usign the anonymous name/config provided? I am new to CVS and am not quite sure what to put in the module name... I kinda wanna grab the current code, but don't want to do it file by file via the web (plus learn CVS, learning to program I might use it in the future, you know?)
Here's a screen shot of the connection information I treid (along with many others)

Image

this is what the output window says...

In C:\Documents and Settings\Scott\Desktop\DC++SRC\Working1: C:\Program Files\TortoiseCVS\cvs.exe -q checkout -P dcplusplus
CVSROOT=:pserver:[email protected]:/cvsroot/dcplusplus

cvs checkout: Empty password used - try 'cvs login' with a real password

can't create temporary directory /tmp/cvs-serv19617
Permission denied

Error, CVS operation failed

Any help is appreciated...thanx
~Scott

Your setup looks fine, I just tried and received the same message.
I last picked up CVS 5 June and it was working ok. So the assumption at the moment is a problem at SourceForge not you.
Always remember you're unique, just like everyone else.
