GUI of DC++

Post by UoAoE » 2003-02-07 15:37

Hi there,, I’m trying to setup an Arabic version of DC++, the language it self is not the problem but the fact that Arabic starts from the right side, so I was wondering how can I change the GUI interface so commands be in the right side instead of the left side. For instant, the file, view, windows and help would be in the right side. If any one can help with this plz.

Ummm... I think that almost all edit boxes can have their text start at the right side instead of the left side, but then the problem of "reversing" the written strings come to mind... I'd recommend (as a quick fix) to patch the addLine() and addClientLine() methods in the HubFrame and PrivateFrame - since these are the things that govern chat they seem to be most critical.

Other than that, I don't think I can be of much help. Good luck, though, you'll probably need it.
