How to compute for the status byte after speed in MyINFO?

Technical discussion about the NMDC and ADC protocol. The NMDC protocol is documented in the Wiki, so feel free to refer to it.

How to compute for the status byte after speed in MyINFO?

Post by DubbXP » 2003-01-30 09:17

I remember reading a post in the old boards about how to compute for the byte after the speed in the $MyINFO. Something to do with share size?

So what's the basis for that byte? :?
What is the difference between a Normal user, a FileServer, and a SpeedUser? :?

Example:
If share < 10Gb = Normal user?
If share > 10Gb = FileServer user?
If speed = DSL = SpeedUser?

I remember seeing something like that before in the old boards.
