Slots FULL BZ2 List Download

Ok i know this works but i can figure out how.

$Get MyList.bz2$1| to a dc++ client is sapose to send back the bz2 list even thogh the slots are all full, but form some reason its sending me the Maxedout command. Any ideas on why this happens? I am sending the $Supports BZList | command, everything is the same except the Lock.

any ideas?

Hi Sid,

Did you try this test on YOUR DC++ or on a random DC++ found in a hub ?
If your MyNick/Lock/Key/Support sequence is correct (ragnarok seems to be), maybe the client you are scanning is a leecher: fake DC++ but no slot, and send the MaxedOut tag ?

i have tested multipul clinets, people i know to have real dc++ clinets, i then tested the same clients with the DC++ Lock String and it then worked. It seems like you can only use the DC lock string if you want to download a list when the slots are full. No good for 3rd party non dc++ clients. Ohh Well.
