when send $Hello, $MyInfo ...

Technical discussion about the NMDC and ADC protocol. The NMDC protocol is documented in the Wiki, so feel free to refer to it.

when send $Hello, $MyInfo ...

Post by Freak.2k » 2004-10-11 12:52

Hey,

When do I have to send commands like Hello,MyInfo,GetNickList....
I tried it with the original DC Hub. After I have sent my Password, the comes nothing beside of "<Hub> access granted".
Wiki says, that the $LogedIn command is sent after I've loged in and I am a op.
I'm an op, but this command doesn't come.
Is this different between the hubs?

thx

Check out http://wza.digitalbrains.com/DC/doc/Cli ... Login.html and see if it helps you, that site is the one that describes the initial handshake between the hyb and the client best I think.

What hubsoft are you logging into? Are you sure you are an OP? Do you get the $NickList and stuff after that, so you're sure the login works?
