Post by demo » 2004-01-14 04:42

hi, I'm wondering if there is the possibility to have dc still active in windows 2000 even if the win-user disconnects himself.
something like a service.
any idea?

bye, demo

I've used, and I'm still using windows 2000 for something like tho years, and I can ensure you that dc++ perfectly works with windows 2000 both in active and passive mode.

There must be somethin else wrong. Are you using zone alarm?
How can you liberate people by killing them?

If the user logs out, you want DC++ to still run?

Or when the w2k machine disconnects from the net, you want active mode still to work?

DC++ isn't suited to being a service. There are unix clients that are, though.
