[HELP] Proxy UNI.. i know you're annoyed by this

Hi to everyone... i've already read "Tunneling DC++, how ?" in "Other Tools" section... ok I'm in a uni with a proxy and a firewall...my proxy doesn't support Socks... i couldn't really install many things (I managed to install Dc++ and Http-tunnel)... the first time I launch the last program it asks me the configuration... so i put the right name (it's right because i tried to ping it) of my proxy server, the 8080 port and the username/password... the program stucks and after some minutes it says it can't retrieve the ip address... how can I do to launch DC++? i've already tried passive mode but i get nothing... can anyone really help me? maybe if you tell me what to do I can give you all the info you need on my net configuration... thx in advance...
