Couple of questions about DC++k and netminder

Post by Rck60s1 » 2003-12-24 17:53

Apparently I continue to post questions in the wrong folder so i will try here...
1. My D/L speeds are seriously slow...rarely ever over 20 kbps...What can be done to increase them if anything?
2. Does anyone have a suggested speed for D/L and Upload when configuring netminder as I cannot find it anywhere in the readme
3. I am trying to connect in active mode but I need to know the settings for my modem...Apparently when I go into the NAT config I need certain info that I do not have...
4. Is there an exe file to run for DC++k as I cannot find it...does anyone have the link to the d/l

1. Find faster sources. What connection do you have?
2. Depends on your speeds. A good setting for upload limit is 90% of your available upload speed
3. What brand/model? Read: http://www.dslreports.com/faq/6518 yet?
4. DC++k can be found here but it has been discontinued. iDC++ has DC++k features and is being updated
