Hi there i lost my password for my laptop and i cant even login without it asking for my password, damn. i tryed getting in to the bios but it askes for it there too, any programms i get use or somthink, thank you.

its a Itronix laptop windows 2000 pro Embeded.

To get ride of the password in bios:
Open up the puter and find the jumper for clear cmos on the mainboard. If you can't find it, remove the small battery on the mainborad for some seconds.

Thanks for trying to help me mate. i done what you said and took the little round battery out fot bout 5 minutes, and booted it up but still i get prompted for password, as soon as i hit del to go int bios/cmos settings, i cant just boot my laptop up either coz it asks me for password even. i cvant seem to find the junmer on the mainboard, is it near the battery ?.

Previously, did it ask you for a password every time you booted up the laptop?

if it is a laptop the only ways to get ride of password asking depend on the way it is locking the laptop.
password is keep in a chip(battery on laptop is only for time keeping), you need to change or reset it(flash it), or if you can find the back door(if there is one).
second way to lock, is tru a bios backup on the HD.
the third, is OS lockup tru special software(might be bios based).

there might also be other ways to lock a laptop that i'm not aware of...

Yeah Lots of people have told me to FLASh it in a confidant manner, but i dont even know what that is, u no where i can get information on this, and yes i have typed flashing laptop, ln google and it brought alot of mumble jumble up, cant seem to find any info on it.
