I'm hosting my webpages myself and friends of mine have also servers running on their computers. Do you anyone know a good javascript for html site that could tell if certain webserver is online or offline? I've seen em before somewhere in better sites, but i can't find one again to add it to my site. Anyone who can script or someone who knows where I can find that kind of javascript?

go to the k++ dl page and choose the first (I think) mirror, it'll take you to a site with a list of dl servers with 'online' and 'offline' buttons. Steal their code.
