.pca files

Post by grouser » 2006-11-17 10:55

Please advise software needed for win98SE to convert .pca to .wav or .mp3 in order to burn to CD. Have tried Acid Pro 4.0 (doesn't give the option) and Sony Soundforge 8.0b (.exe file won't work on my system). Would Soundforge 7.0 work? Others? Thanks

Since this is a question about audio formats, you can probably solve it by some google searches. If you can't find it there, ask on an audio-specific forum.

.pca conversion solved

Post by grouser » 2006-12-03 17:37

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sound Forge 4.0e still did not have the necessary codec, although it did at least load on to a win98sys. However, sound forge 6.0 not only was compatable with win98se, it does have the codec to convert .pca to .wav(hoorah) and works well. Problem solved.
