Hello, thank you for the quick answear! But I didnt find any... I was checking about 20,30 HUBS... Have noone some to post here, or know a website?FCN-Eki wrote:Just watch some nice hubs. On many hubs there are command (for exaple +sleep, +beer etc) and when you type thath command you'll get the ascii. The bigger hubs doens't have 'em, but look on small and active ones.

If your goal is to display them in a client, you'll have to contend with the fact that some people use variable width fonts (so most ASCII art you find will look distorted). Only a few derived clients have a default of using a monospaced font for displaying chat or PM.nils16 wrote:Hello, have anyone a idea where I can find some ASCII arts?
So, basically, get used to the fact that your art won't look right most of the time.

What has that todo with anything? It is a problem within DC++-community since different DC++ users will use different fonts (some fixed-size, some variable-sized)FCN-Eki wrote:Yeah but at least here DC++ is almost only client that is accepted, so it is not a problem.
And regarding ASCII-art, google is your friend.
Everyone is supposed to download from the hubs, - I don´t know why, but I never do anymore.
Yeah well, I actually dunno anybody who has changed fonts in DC++... Of cource, it's possible but it's pretty rare thing.ivulfusbar wrote:What has that todo with anything? I know the discussion has been had in our development hub on more than one occasion, so someone has changed fonts. It's impossible to do anything but guess at how many people actually have. But regardless, since DC++'s default font is variable width, if you tailor your art to it, it'll look bad for those people with non-default fonts... and especially bad for those who have picked a mono-spaced one.FCN-Eki wrote:Yeah well, I actually dunno anybody who has changed fonts in DC++... Just so you know. Because, you know, knowing is half the battle.
