Research Paper on P2P, have questions and need help

Post by Slappy » 2005-10-18 13:02

I am a college student and I am doing a research paper on the war on P2P and I need some primary research for my report. My question to you is, what is the one thing anti-P2P forces have done or are doing that most discourages you from downloading protected/copyrighted material?

Do you know anyone who has stopped engaging in piracy and why did they stop?

We do not discuss piracy in here EVER.

Which is comical considering DC++ is 99% driven by pirated material.

I am not asking for a discussion on piracy, just an answer to my research questions.

This forum has a strict policy not to allow discussions or other things regarding protected/copyrighted material. DC++ is intended to be used in downloading legal material, such as Linux distributions and public domain songs / etc, it has never been intended for use in breaking the law, nor has it ever been advertised as such.

I'm closing this thread, but i suggest you try over at slyck.com or similar.
