Linksys router won't let me in to alter port settings.

The online tutorials on here are great on how to use DC++ through the router...

However, when I type in my router's IP in the browser, it lists the make/model of the router and asks for the router username and password...

WHAT???

Anyone know how to find what username/password it wants or how to get around this? I mean, I just plugged it in and it worked so there was never any creating passwords about it.

Thanks a bunch! I just set up a Teamspeak server so I can no longer just plug directly into my modem and I'm going through Last Exile withdrawal : (

The manual for the router should contain the default user name and password as well as the instructions on how to change it.

If you do not have a hard copy of the manual, Google is your friend.

This should be in the manual for the router. If I recall correctly, for mine it was no username and admin as the password. YMMV

Yeah, the book is long gone but the no username / password: admin worked!

Thanks a bunch!

I would recommend changing the pass and/or setting a username at some point in the very near future.
