well the problem isant DC related but i couldent get help anywhere else with this so i though id give these forums a try, well alls i really want to do is lower my internet security settings so i can download basicaly any file i want (cant download *.rec) but when i try and change my internet security settings i get a mesage saying the recommended security setting is medium blah blah blah you cannot go below this setting.

it seems to only be when i try to download a *.rec file from freewebs it shows the file in text in internet explorer and a yellow bar apears just below my addresse bar saying "the file was restricted beacuase the content doesnt match its security information"
