DC++ Icon Problems

Post by TechnoSpeeder » 2004-07-17 18:22

I downloaded a new DC++ icon and changed the icon for it to show in windows xp home, but when i put the icon in Y'z Dock 0.8.3, the old icon still shows insted of the new icon. how do i change this? this is happening, i think becasue Y'z Dock 0.8.3 for some reason takes the original icon. how do i make this new icon the original icon? i cant seem to find it in program files/dc++ couse the icon file seems to be hidden somewhere.

You might be able to get a resource editor to replace the existing icon in the EXE with one of your own. Other than that, it looks like a Y'z Dock support question.

Wouldn't the more correct (and general) solution be to get Y'z Dock to accept custom icons correctly, rather than hacking at an individual application?
