Bandwidth Throttling

Post by DavidtheDuke » 2004-04-07 21:46

In WinMX, I can throttle the bandwidth of my upload and download speeds. This is convenient when I want to surf webpages etc. My upload speed, when maxed out, greatly slows this down. Now I know some people would throttle it down to a ridiculous 1 kb/s a second, but maybe the Hubmaster could make a minimum of 7.5 kb/s upload speed? I'd also like to throttle the d/l speed as that obviously slows down my surfing speeds, as well.

There are many modified clients out there that have upload limiting... check them out in my FAQ.
