intergration with peer guardian?
not sure on this, but having a IP blocklist that works like PG would be great, keep those corporate spies from checking out your files......
either have it be able to use the same refference file, like kazaa lite does, or something like that?

Once he is known, the damage is already done.. besides, you don't think corporations know about dynamic ips? =)Wisp wrote:i think it's the duty of hub owners to kick/ban all RIAA scum, that way it's much more efficient
once a user is known to be from a anti-p2p corporation, his IP should be banned on all the hubs

Ugh, well regardless of your stance on intellectual property, the RIAA does have the right to enforce copyright of the songs they're in charge of. Copying most commercial MP3s is a crime, legally.Wisp wrote:i think it's the duty of hub owners to kick/ban all RIAA scum, that way it's much more efficient
Would you trust an operator of another hub to give you a set of IPs to ban?once a user is known to be from a anti-p2p corporation, his IP should be banned on all the hubs
There are huge trust issues that make it hard to look seriously at implementing any such scheme. (At least if you want to do it right.)
