I'd like the following features:
* Each items' Search string in Download queue defaulting to the Search string that was used to find the file in the first place.
* Removing the "Search for Alternates" and replacing it with "Search for alternets using Filename" and "Search for alternates using Search string"
* Renaming "Enter search string" to "Edit search string".
This is because I almost always have to enter a more general search string when searching for alternates (i.e. the search string i used finding the file), since the filenames of the same file may differ across users.
Defaulting the Search string in Download queue to the Search string used might be an Expert option in Settings.
My 10 cents...
Saving Search string in Download Queue

I quite like this idea.lusson wrote: * Each items' Search string in Download queue defaulting to the Search string that was used to find the file in the first place.
you got my vote!
I *always* need to edit the search string.
I DL lots of TV series episodes and somehow everybody renames them just a little bit, with or without episode name, season/episode written as S05E14 or 5x14 or 5.14, sometimes including what it was captured from, or what codec was used to encode. when i search, i search for "Angel 5 14 mpg" and thats what i would like to be the default searchstring....

This does sound like a pretty good suggestion. Search terms will be more generic, but the file size field should prevent too many additional search results from being returned.
For searching for alternates, filename confusion shouldn't be a problem in a version or two - searching by a file's hash will get rid of all the renaming problems.
