I would enjoy a search hit counter. Would this be difficult to implement?
I searched the boards with no results. If it's a dupe, please moderate accordingly.
Any thoughts?

Search Hit Counter? as in say how many searches matched a local file vs the ones that didnt? I think this was in BCDC at one stage but got removed due to needing too much cpu time (thou I wouldn't have thought it would be too taxing)

Sorry for being vague. Seems you understood, though. Well, that's too bad. There are times I would like to see how many results show up. A simple count++ would do the trick. Any takers?
I really need to learn how to compile this bad boy. (don't we all agree?)
Hehe.

Ah, as in: "Current number of search results: ###" in the status bar of the search window?
That'd be an interesting stat.
