Save somewhere download queue

Post by ravanelli » 2003-12-09 13:52

hello
My Pc has just crashed
DC++ 305 was running
After the reboot I lost my download queue completely
I think that happened sometimes to dc++ users
Is it possible to save somewhere ( bloc note for exemple) the download queue so in case of great crash to import the saved download queue
It will be nice that dc++ do that automatiquely
Thanks

DC++ automatically does save the queue every period of time (I dont know what it is and too lazy to look in the source)

Something that might come in handy though would be a command one could type in to save the queue immediatly, like /savequeue.

Backup your .xml files at least once a day e.g. in zip file, it takes not much time and space. That will save you such loss :)

Hello
If Dc++ save sometimes the queue in queue xml files I can perhaps save the cue also in a file queue .xml .bak at different time
And if a grave crash arrive and the queue is lost we have just to remove bak
Or and it will be better to import queue from the queue bak folder
Have a good day
