View own file list

Post by TierraX.cl » 2003-11-22 17:13

I think it should be easier to see our own's file list that we are sharing, and the posibility not to include subdirectories in the directory sharing (or chosable by the user)

A file tree manager for selecting shares could be nice.

Just use the File -> Open File List menu item and select the MyList1.bz2.
For your manager, it's not yet able to do what you want, so move the subdirectories into a directory you will share.

I know, but sometimes in the directory there are more than one Mylist.bz2
and you have to compare dates to see which one is the last one.
All i'm saying that there should be an easier way, like in a filetree

yes, it could be easy. There are many things to make DC++ more user-friendly IMHO.

But you don't have to compare dates, it should always be the filelist with the highest number, unless dc++ crashed and left files all over...

In the meantime, simply hide the directories you don't want shared...
