When an of your favorite and market hub disconnect dc++ trie to reconnect at once
But if your are banned from the hub for only few minutes DC ++ does nothing
I know that if you are baned something must be wrong but some hub ban you temporary only for technical reasons or because your hip is not the same than the hub's country specialy when they are quite full
It is only a temporary ban ( 3, 4 or 5 minutes) but if you are not preasent it is like an eternal ban
Could DC++ in that case reconnect
Sooy for my english
Have a good day

this 'feature' was implemented for a reason. when you get kicked/banned for a couple of minutes, the reason - in most cases - is that there is something wrong with your share. the OPs do not want you gone, but they want you to fix your share.-- 0.23 2003-01-30 --
* If DC++ receives "banned" during the login phase, it'll stop automatically reconnecting (nöjd nu, nev? =) [happy now, nev?]
now, when you are not around, you cannot fix your share, can you? why the fsck should you reconnect then?
Nev, among others have argued to implement this feature because the usual scenario was this:
- user X has bad files
- user X gets kicked for an n amount of minutes, to give him/her time to fix the share
- user X is not around, user X reconnects WITH THE SAME CRAP IN HIS SHARE
- user X gets permanently banned, because he/she hasn't fixed their share.
I have no clue what you mean by "your hip is not the same", but I don't think it outweighs the advantage of the way it works now.
OPs cannot "know" if the user refuses to fix their share, or that the user simply is away.
live with this situation, as it is way better than it was before.

There is an Italian DC++ modification:
http://xoomer.virgilio.it/popslutor/
Reconnecting after a ban is not acceptable in the rest of the DC world, so if you can convince the author to change the code, please don't wander too far beyond Italy with it.
