Search only selected hub(s)

Post by Wysky » 2003-09-29 03:31

My idea: In search dialog add checkboxes with open hubs to select which hub(s) have to be searched.

I agree; this is a much needed addition that would considerably cut down search traffic when used properly (i.e. by ops searching their hubs for offenders without searching other hubs too).

Ooops sorry for that, I'm not completly wake up... Too early for me :(.

Mea culpa.

And yes this topic's title is more explicit.

(For the feature, I think this will be a good feature: in the search frame + an option to autosearch on all connected hubs or just on selected hubs).

I do also think this is a good feature, makes it easier for the user who not will have to check reults for every hub he is in if he only want to see results on one and it will also relive the hubs from some load if you not have search on all hubs you are connected to every time you search.
