For each new version of dc++ we get new candy. But one trinket that is always there and never gets replaced is the page-control at the bottom.
arne; I know you wrote the control yourself and perhaps you love it! But it is not very useful as it cannot wrap tabs on multiple rows and it is also quite ugly, giving a sort of win3.11-ish look and feel. Sorry...
Number one request is that this control is replaced by any of the win32 windows standard page-controls. Not only would it wrap properly, it would look neater in winxp.
Next request is more conroversial. I would actually like the pages to be grouped in three rows. dc++ windows like public hublist, favourites, finished download and search-windows on row 1, hubs in row 2 and private messages in row 3.

totally true,
I really hate to have to close a lot of pm's all the time to see if newer ones have new messages

great :)
personally I would like hubs/favs/finished/publist in one row
and search/pm in another.
as the first often stays the same
and the latter continually changes
above all though, I'd like pm's not to pop-up, but just signal (blinking button) their existence.
but what I've heard about windows is that they auto-popup, dunno if this can be turned off, and otherwise it'd be nice if the focus was returned to the old window.

I'm sorry, I wasn't quite clear on that obviously.Iceman[grrrr] wrote:Well in Settings-->Advanced there is a checkbox to "Popup private messages". Try to uncheck it to see if that's what you want!
I do want the message to pop-up, I just don't want it to steal focus.
Unchecking the pop-up checkbox would mean that I'd have to watch the hub-windows all day.
