Between chat window and download window there is a line to show last messages (commands?). Sometimes it looks like that:

Those lines are the messages that DC++ chose to "ignore" aka not show in the main chat. I think it only does this if you turn the option on. It would be nice if you could resize it to fit larger messages or something of that sort or have a sort of mini window in between the main chat and the download/upload list so you don't have to be flooded with those messages but can still see them.
