Simultaneously download from more than one source?

Hi,

Can you simultaneously download from more than one
source for a single file -- to speed things up?

If so how?

I find alternates, then use the option "Download to.."
and point to the file I want, but I never seem to
have a download from more than soure for the same file

You cannot download from multiple sources using DC++.

There are a number of threads discussing this very idea. Have a search for them to see the positive and negative things discussed.

There are certainly things such as upload limiting, etc that exist in DC++ variants, but I was just talking about vanilaa DC++.

If the user does the search and finds the appropriate threads, they will see what variants can do what.
