single connection

Post by ravanelli » 2003-04-29 01:53

hello
Some hubs do not allow Dc++ even if you have a single connection with it
(they do what they want but in that case it is very stupid)
Is it possible not to show we are using DC++ in case we connect to a single hub only
Thanks

No.

There are dc++ clones that do that, but to me it's easier to just go to a different hub.

Besides, as long as it goes with mod detecting, you'd have to hide much more than just the tag (ie crippling your client).

And say goodbye to fringe benefits like mini-slots and autosearches? I think most people would rather just use NMDC again. ;-)
