It's probably running hung in the background. The bug was fixed in 0.233, whe'll just need to kill DC++ or reboot and install the new version._sheerin wrote:i just registered a user into my private hub. she closed dc++ and when she tried to open it back up it wouldn't let her. does anyone know why this is?
Nope - I'm getting loads of reports saying ppl can't start their DC++... shuts down after ½ a sec, not running in the background. Since this morning. My guess: something with the "update"-message. New installs in new folders haven't helped, new/older versions doesn't help, not even oDC seems to work.
All reports are from XP users, thou.
And yes, they've tried the new version too.

The http://dcplusplus.sourceforge.net/version.xml file isn't well-formed (unescaped & character), causing DC++ to crash. for now block access to dcplusplus.sourceforge.net until this is resolved.
