users not being able to open up dc++...weird

i just registered a user into my private hub. she closed dc++ and when she tried to open it back up it wouldn't let her. does anyone know why this is?

It's probably running hung in the background. The bug was fixed in 0.233, whe'll just need to kill DC++ or reboot and install the new version.

Nope - I'm getting loads of reports saying ppl can't start their DC++... shuts down after ½ a sec, not running in the background. Since this morning. My guess: something with the "update"-message. New installs in new folders haven't helped, new/older versions doesn't help, not even oDC seems to work.
All reports are from XP users, thou.

And yes, they've tried the new version too.

this has also been happening to me on two different machines. both are win 2k. it happend with the "peace" version and the new one just downloaded this morning. any ideas?

The http://dcplusplus.sourceforge.net/version.xml file isn't well-formed (unescaped & character), causing DC++ to crash. for now block access to dcplusplus.sourceforge.net until this is resolved.

Well, actually yes. When I wrote that, 0.24 hadn't been released, and thus the version.xml problem wasn't in existence. :-P
