How about a pause feature when downloading?

Post by biff » 2004-11-01 13:02

I would be really helpful if there were a pause feature, i.e. pausing one down load thats half-way through when you need another to finish a tad quicker. That would be great...

Minor thing I've been meaning to ask previously but always forgotten...

Is it intentional that when you change the priority to paused, that the download doesn't actually pause before you disconnect that download? If not, could it be changed to automatically pause that download and start another from that same user if there is other files queued, or then simply just automatically closing that transfer.

Yes, it's intentional. It could be changed, as could any other part of DC++, but it's unlikely. Consider that if you want your behaviour currently, you can cleanly, quickly and simply synthesize it. If the change you suggest occurs, those who want the existing behaviour cannot do likewise.
