Automaticly remove .dctmp files from share

Post by Cyborg » 2004-10-15 07:54

Please add this, because I get kicked all the time for sharing .dctmp files.

I share my downloads dir and the unfinished dir is in it.

Which version of DC++ are you using?
What I'm aware of you shouldn't even be able to share a folder containing your unfinised folder.

The solution would be to not share your incomplete downloads.

I use 0.4034.

The problem is that the unfinished dir is in the downloads dir, and I share the downloads dir. I would change it, but I have too many unfinished downloads in my queue.

Move the unfinished dir and edit the xml files by hand. But PLAN and THINK before you do it.

That's not the default for the version you are using. Have you explicitly set both the finished and unfinished folder to be the same?
I share the downloads dir.
So you immediately share things without first checking them?
I would change it, but I have too many unfinished downloads in my queue.
Irrelevant. Change it. You can either let the old files finish where they are, or move them.
