IP column optional in hub users list

Post by czfree » 2004-10-01 08:05

Hello,

I'd like to see $SUBJ implemented in DC++. Imagine wi-fi network where IP information helps you directly decide which sources (nearest neighbors) to download from.

Thanks in advance.

ask your hub owner to implement the latter (UserIP2) for you or all users

p.s. using shift-home,ctrl-c and hitting ctrl-v later is just as fast as typing $subj and looks a lot nicer.

I guess he means that $SUBJ = the subject of his post. I had some problems myslef trying to understand it.

Oh. That's confusing, especially since $SUBJ would be a relatively well-formed NMDC hub command.

Why the NMDC protocol sucks, reason #458690485798.
